Sumeet Group Enterprises leads 500-member cleanliness drive during Kartik Vari in Pandharpur

Continuing its tradition of public service and community engagement, Sumeet Group Enterprises has deployed a team of 500 sanitation workers along with specialized cleaning tools & equipment in Pandharpur as part of its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative during the Kartik Vari.
Every year, the Group undertakes this commitment to support cleanliness and hygiene efforts in the temple town, which welcomes thousands of devotees during the Bhagwat Ekadashi celebrations in the holy month of Kartik, as per the Marathi calendar. This 5-day-long endeavour follows in the footsteps of a similar cleanliness exercise that the Group conducts every year on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi.
Through this initiative, Sumeet Group aims to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for both pilgrims and residents, facilitating a smooth and fulfilling spiritual experience during the yatra period.
Summit Salunke, Vice Chairman of Sumeet Group Enterprises, said, “For us, service goes beyond business. It’s about giving back to the communities we are part of. Our annual cleanliness drives during Ashadhi Ekadashi & Kartik Vari reflect our enduring commitment to social responsibility and public well-being. By maintaining hygiene in Pandharpur during such large gatherings, we hope to contribute to the comfort, safety, and spiritual joy of every devotee.”
This sustained effort highlights Sumeet Group’s focus on community welfare, sustainable social development, and civic responsibility, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner in initiatives that blend faith and social impact across Maharashtra.
